Like our larger D-12 dehydrator, the revised D-10 now comes with a removable back panel which is attached to the sides of the unit with latches. Cleaning and routine maintenance procedures are now much quicker and painless now that the back panel can be removed. Similarly, we've incorporated our advanced racking system into this unit, featuring removable shelving brackets for more thorough cleaning.

The improved D-10 now stands slightly taller on 1" legs which maximizes air circulation around the dehydrator. The new D-10 also features improved controls with a new timer which allows you to set your dehydrator for up to 12 hours of drying time. The dehydrator will automatically turn off at the end of the drying cycle. If you want to dehydrate thicker food taking more than 12 hours or use a lower temperature setting, the controls also allow you dehydrate without using the timer so you can dehydrate to your own personal standards. For your convenience, we've also included a power indicator light to alert you when power is running to your dehydrator. Finally, we added a hole in the louvered door for the insertion for a thermometer so you can closely monitor the internal conditions during dehydration.

Though many customers do use this commercially-warranted model to make dried foods for public sale and consumption, regulations governing commercial food equipment may vary between geographical regions.
